BRFC –“Fat Boys in Lycra” Charity Cycle Ride |

24th & 25th May 2008
 12 Bromley Rugby Football Club members are cycling from Poole to Exeter in their Annual Charity Fund raising event. It is the 14th year of Bromley RFC’s fundraising events and this year monies will go to the Tag Rugby Development Trust. The Trust takes UK Volunteers and Coaches to Government schools & Orphanages and teaches Tag Rugby to African & India Children, a high percentage who are from difficult family backgrounds or orphaned through no fault of their own!
The Trust has been in operation (as a Voluntary Charity until recently) since 2002 and has helped improve the lives of over 6500 Children through their unique Tours. It has also trained 150+ Teachers and Rugby Coaches so this important part of the children’s lives can continue while we enjoy our normal lives. The UK volunteers have also enjoyed a fantastic experience and one that a number state is a life changing experience.

L’Entente Cordiale façon Rugby !
Quatre mois, quatre mois pour tout organiser ! Mais le résultat est là : des joueurs très impliqués, un groupe unis et la reprise de nos échanges avec le club de rugby de Bromley.
Vendredi 21 mars 2008 à 11 heures Place de la Mairie à Saint Marcel : personne ne manque, tout le monde est à l’heure soit 34 bons hommes pour un week-end de Pâques en Angleterre.
Arrivée à l’aéroport Grenoble Saint Geoirs à 12h00. Quelques joueurs inspirés avaient prévu des boissons rafraîchissantes pour patienter.

Dave Singer and the fatboy cyclists give their thanks for the tremendous effort of all the friends at BRFC who helped raise £6208 towards a new life saving microscope for the Bromley Chartwell Cancer unit.

Welcome to the website for Bromley Rugby Football Club.
This is our 121st season and we hope it will be as successful as ever, both on and off the field of play. We continue to provide excellent playing opportunities for mini, junior and senior players of all abilities and on the social front, the club is thriving.
As a truly amateur club, we owe our continued success to the many volunteers and sponsors that are our lifeblood. Their tireless work and support, often behind the scenes, has without doubt been instrumental in placing us in the strong position in which we now find ourselves. I am very grateful to them all and I am particularly pleased to welcome T Loughman & Co. Ltd. as our main sponsor this season.

Senior squad training is held at Bromley Rugby Football Club every Wednesday night, from 7.30 onwards. Training consists of both handling and fitness training as well as ball skills, game play and specific 'backs' and 'forwards' training.
